This is the best way to dip your toe into the world of grower Champagne. Lamandier-Bernier are without a doubt one of the best in Champagne. Made from 100% Chardonnay, this has a broad, textural palate, with ripe orchard fruits and racy acidity. The name “Latitude” was chosen to characterise this rounder, soft cuvée. It’s exemplary and charming.

Larmandier-Bernier are one of the original ‘grower’ Champagne producers. This estate is meticulously run by Pierre Larmandier and his wife Sophie. The vineyards are worked biodynamically, a rarity in Champagne (although that is changing). Only indigenous yeasts are used and dosage is kept very low so as not to interfere with the expression of pure Champagne fruit.
