Ramon Jane Tinc Set Pet-Nat 2022

Tinc Set means 'I'm thirsty' in Catalan. And as if to reply, Ramon Jané has crafted this fresh, zippy Pet-Nat with flavours of green apple, citrus, fennel and a little nuttiness. It's made from Xarel.lo and Parellada, which are two of the main white grape varieties in Cataluna, a region renowned for sparkling wine.

 

Ramon Jané is based in Penedès in Catalonia, Spain. He began Mas Candi in 2006 with his friend Toni Carbó, using their family’s vineyards to produce their own wines, effectively breaking the tradition of selling their entire production to the large Cava houses. He launched his own label in 2016, and focuses on still and sparkling wines, sustainably farmed and ethically produced, always from organic viticulture.
