Stoneweaver might be a new release, but it’s got all the wine growing knowhow of the Allan family of Huia behind it. This is expressive Marlborough Pinot Noir, packed with flavour; ripe cherry and spice with an underlying earthiness. Fruit from the Omaka Valley is handpicked and cold soaked for a couple of days. Once fermented with natural yeast, the wine is aged in large and small format oak for 11 months. There’s plenty to enjoy, without having to part with too much moolah.

They’re committed to working in harmony with their environment, using organic and biodynamic practices. Having started planting at their Wairau Valley site in the early ‘90’s, vine age adds to the complexity and balance of the excellent wines they produce.
